How Alerts work
- Alerts run only in your browser (client-only).
- They monitor your Favorites (up to 20 tracked) on each data refresh.
- Close this tab/window = monitoring stops. Reopen the site to resume monitoring.
- Alerts use cooldowns so the same alert doesn’t spam repeatedly.
Tip: If you see a Test alert button, it just creates a sample “Alert Result” so you know notifications are working.

Tip: Alerts track your Favorites. Add tickers using ★ Favorite (up to 20 tracked).
Alert Results will appear below and can be scrolled when there are many.

How to read this chart
- Close – Last traded price for each day.
- SMA(20) – 20-day Simple Moving Average that smooths the trend.
- EMA(20) – 20-day Exponential Moving Average that reacts faster to new prices.
- RSI(14) – Momentum scale from 0–100. Above ~70 is often called “overbought”, below ~30 “oversold”.
- MACD – Difference between fast and slow EMAs, often used to spot momentum shifts.
- ATR(14) – Average True Range, which measures how much price moves (volatility), not direction.
